MARIE CLAIRE LAUNCHES 1ST POWER TRIP IN GREECE
More than a hundred entrepreneurs, CEOs, founders, activists, politicians and opinion leaders joined the first Marie Claire Power Trip conference in Greece, which aims to raise awareness about many unsolved equality issues in Greece, such as low participation of women in leading positions and the wage gap.
The summit was led with great success in Cape Sounio Grecotel Exclusive beachside Resort, in an amazing historic location of the Athenian Riviera.
Among the key speakers were:
– the Minister of education Niki Kerameus, who discussed why women are underrepresented in politics and boarding rooms although 60% of university graduates in Greece are women.
– Noëlla Coursaris Musunka, a Congolese/Cypriot philanthropist and international model and Founder of Malaika, a grassroots nonprofit that works to educate and empower girls and communities in her home country of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
